Skin79 Super Plus BB Creams - All 3 BB Creams Comparison with Swatches and Review - Korean SkinCare

Hey people
You know the drastic transformations I'm going through. Firstly a tomboy, then a kid, then girl who likes lip gloss, then the girl started to like lipsticks now it reached the peaks and now
This girl turned into a huge Korean Skin Care fan and ever since I found that they actually work!
Anyway, this is not regarding the skincare but the ever famous BB cream.
I always knew that the BB creams are the only/main makeup the Koreans wear. Usually, the BB creams are not so very good at covering the spots etc. But in recent times, they could develop a BB cream with high coverage and many variants are available.
As of now I am going to show you the swatches and my review of the SKIN79 Super Plus BB Creams.
I was quite unsure of buying the full sizes as I wasn't sure of the shade. I'm dusky and not every bb cream suit me. So, I opted for the samples.

I got these for $4.99 from ebay.com
I am not really sure about the quantity. But I'm sure that they provide the required amount of quantity to form an opinion.
The samples are basically tiny plastic sachets with very little information given on the package.

My take on the product:
Few brands launched their BB creams in India also. I was wondering why they has to create a complete new product and why can't they sell the same which are being sold abroad. I never knew the reason. All I knew about a BB cream is, it is a product that would treat the skin and give a medium coverage. My first brush with the BB cream was with the Garnier BB cream that my friend got it from Australia. India has no concept of BB cream back then. Anyway, I could apply it and got to know that it made my combination skin oily. Super oily and I looked like a ghost with all the white cast. The shade is not mine and never going to suit any dusky skintone. Then the same brand released the bb cream here in India and they were far better than the one I tried.
Coming to the SKIN79 BB cream, they released the super plus BB cream in few variants from which I had a chance to try these 3.
The BB cream has a creamy texture with almost same color which is the skin color. I have tried it on me and found that not all of them suited me.
These swatches are taken on a white paper just to show their real shade and texture.

Here is the Hand Swatch:
I have taken a dollop of each cream and spread it on my hand. Better than the paper, I could see a clear difference in each cream.
My Experience: from left to right:
VIP Gold Super Plus Beblesh Balm is a medium shade which is slightly lighter than my skintone. But I am sure that I can blend it out with mixing a concealer of darker shade and bring the color close to my skintone. But all this makes the concept of using the BB cream weird and makes it heavy on the face.

Super Plus Triple Functions BB Vital Cream is my least favourite. This is super light and which would suit only the fair skin. You just can't do anything about it but to donate the cream to any of your fair skinned friends. But this is the best among the other 2 bb creams with respect to the other qualities like the SPF,anti ageing properties etc.

Hot Pink Super Plus Beblesh Balm is just the best! I loved it. This is so close to my skintone and can easily be blended as it is very creamy. Gives the medium coverage. It slightly has shimmer but they are not visible to the eye. It doesn't make my skin oily but I am not sure if it sticks to the same during summer too. As of now, I loved the pink BB cream.

Pros:
1. The samples are just a great idea to try and test on.
2. These BB creams are by default meant for fair skin tones.
3. The pink one and the VIP Gold one are the best so far.
4. Price is different on different websites.Choose a website with the least price and then shop.
5. Unlike the Indian BB creams, these BB creams has their unqiue properties in each of them. Just get one which is appropriate to your skin needs.
6. SPF in all of them not 10 or 15 but they maintain a minimum SPF 45 or more.
7. They sure make your skin oily but not that weird oily but a non greasy, glowing finish.8. These samples are easy to carry around.
9. The price is affordable.
10. Has the longest list of pros lol :D

Cons:
1. The Super Plus Triple Functions BB Vital Cream aka orange bb cream is the best in coverage but suits no dusky complexion.
2. During winter, girls with dry skin may have to mix some moisturizer along with the BB cream to get that non drying effect.
Final Words:
Super product to try on. Korean Skin care rocks \m/

    1. The pink version is good coz that is the only one I applied on my face. Though it didn't give me any skin issues, the climate made it difficult to stay matte for long.

  5. Hey, I don't mean to sound nosy or anything, but I came across one of your comments that you were looking for bb creams suitable to NC45 or close to it. Missha has a lot of variety in their M Perfect Cover BB, if you want to check out their shade #31, this is the darkest shade they have, but I think it could work, I love this BB cream personally :) You can also try out Skin79's new bb cream, it's called Super Plus BB Bronze http://www.skin79.us.com/joom/super-plus-beblesh-balm-bronze.html#.U1rnVfldXHQ and it's for much darker skin tones than their normal pale skin ones hehe. And Etude House has a new shade in their BB creams W15 Sand Beige, it's their darkest shade right now, but it's something to try out. The american skinfood shop is also offering more shades on one of their bb cream, http://www.theskinfoodus.com/Product/product_list.asp?cate=1|5|237 might be something to look at :) good luck!

I'm personally an NC30 so I'm at the end of where most BB creams stop, but the ones I listed should be suitable to about a 40 or 45, probably not more though.
